Hi everyone! how’s going? I hope well, today I going to talk about, how the culture reflects our values. It could be said that we are a reflection of our values. And today we will focus mainly on music, I am sure that many of you love music, and I do too
First, who are we going to talk about? Julio Jaramillo! was an icon of Ecuadorian music. He recorded 365 LPs and composed more than 3,000 songs! throughout his career and ventured into all musical genres, music constitutes the cultural identity of many places, in this case the Ecuadorian pasillo, with one of its greatest representatives Julio Jaramillo, known as the Ruiseñor de America or Mr. Juramento, for his popular song "Nuestro juramento".
It is clear that values and teachings are transmitted through music. The lyrics of these songs often include lessons on morality, ethics and acceptable social behavior. The lyrics of Julio Jaramillo songs often reflect values of loyalty and commitment in love. The famous song "Nuestro Juramento" speaks of eternal love and an unbreakable promise between lovers tha's why he is known as Mr. Juramento.
Honesty, Jaramillo is known for the sincerity of his interpretations. His music values emotional honesty, without hiding pain, sadness or intense passion, which makes him look like a sensitive man who is willing to be vulnerable, and make more than one cry.

His interpretations of boleros, pasillos and waltzes celebrate the cultural heritage of the region. So up with culture and values, let's be proud of our culture and preserve those values that are so fundamental in today's society!
